Peggy Bristol, J.D.
Attorney Peggy Bristol is the daughter and granddaughter of Trinidadian immigrants who came to the United States through Ellis Island in the last century. A native New Yorker, Peggy has a deep appreciation of her American heritage as well as her Caribbean roots. She has coached and mentored numerous attorneys on substantive and procedural strategies for young immigrants who are eligible for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, a humanitarian form of immigration relief. She has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Contra Costa College and Drivon School of Law at Humphreys University, has participated in immigration workshops and seminars in the San Francisco Bay Area. and has helped lead “Train the Trainer” workshops for “Know Your Rights” advocates through the National Lawyers Guild. Most recently, she was a co-presenter at the 2018 AILA Northern California Conference. Peggy speaks English and Spanish.
